Jozsef has been cooking Chicken Paprikash (Paprikás Csirke) and other authentic Hungarian dishes for friends and family since he emigrated from Hungary to the US in 1957.

In 2008, he entered the Cleveland Paprikash Cook-Off and won the popular vote category. Event attendees wanted to buy his chicken paprikash, but he didn’t sell it at the time.

He spent two years researching how to create a sauce that would replicate his award winning paprikash. In 2011, he developed the formula and launched Jozsef’s Paprikash Sauce in Cleveland, OH. Now everyone can enjoy authentic Hungarian paprikash in half the time and with no prep. It's the perfect dish for busy families, and anyone who loves a delicious, flavorful meal.
